Tour the Putnam Collection

All the works in The John and Mildred Putnam Sculpture Collection are located on the campus of Case Western Reserve University or the grounds of University Circle, in Cleveland Ohio, and are available for viewing by the public. Works located inside buildings may only be viewed during the hours the buildings are open to the public.

The John and Mildred Putnam Sculpture Collection is accessible by two routes. The North Campus Tour (numbers 1-19) begins in the Kelvin Smith Library and ends in Thwing Center. The South Campus Tour (numbers 20-32) includes more indoor sculptures and covers a larger area of campus. This route begins in the lobby of Baker Building and ends at the School of Dentistry. To visit the entire collection, begin with the North Campus Tour and continue with South Campus Tour.

Periodically organized tours of the collection are offered to the public. The starting location, dates and times of the tours are posted to this website. You may also contact the assistant to the director of the collection if you would like to be notified by email when the next tour is scheduled, or if you would like to arrange a private tour for a group of art enthusiasts.
